What do you do when a total stranger ask you for $5,000.00. Well, in a round about way he did. His brother said this "person of interest" had run up some big time debt, and needed $5,000.00 urgently!
I think now, I have help a lot of people in my life. I helped someone recently save his house and helped pay for an attorney, and he really needed help. Someone wronged him and took almost all he had and even forged documents, signed loans in his name and he was inches from bankruptcy and losing everything.
The difference, I guess, is he told me all that happen to him and I started sending monthly payments to keep them from foreclosing on his home. It took two years of mine and others helping him and just last month, he got a new mortgage on his home and settled with the bank.
The person who ask for money most recently is kin as was the person I just wrote about. But the second told me everything, up front, honest with me as to what happen and what it would take to save him. The recent request was only a 6 or 8 word email forwarded from his brother asking for "5,000, HE needs urgently!"
I can only write at this time, I will wait. I am interested in possibly(?) helping this person but until I know what happen, what is owed to whom, and how much, how can just throw $5,000.00 into the wind.
I truly hope he or someone who knows someone kin to me that needs my help. Even though I have not heard from this person for over 20 years, I am still here. I don't have much, but this dad, brother and son knows people need help sometimes and I saw other do as I "may" do.
