Christmas 2010

12/6/2010;am

It is Christmas 2010 and we are less than 3 weeks until the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Please remember this is a time of giving and enjoying family and friends and remembering too those in need and open our pocketbooks to help those suffering.

We as true Christians must make our lives a true reflection of who we are and we
act as Jesus would at this celebration of his birth.

We are now challenged at this time that even if we find times tough, it we look around we truly find those in a real need, who will not have a Christmas unless we reach out for them.

Your Church, your service group, your personal contacts, some do truly need you to step into the breech and be that helpful friend or relative that helped them through a real tough time.

Someone said this morning, a year from now you will not remember what gift you got for Christmas, but you will remember the acts of faith, the acts of being with family, the celebration of the season.

There are children in true need that will not have a Christmas unless you act. There are families who will not have food or even heat in their homes unless you act. Let your actions now make a difference in someone's life. You will truly remember that act.

Look at your check book near you and write that check you have meant to write and have not. Reach for that envelope and put that check in the mail today or tomorrow so someone is touched by your generosity. Do this in HIS name and let your church or charity take care of the one's most in need.

Karen and I will. A minister told me once, give a part of HIS blessings you have received truly from HIM and touch someone. That you will remember as giving is so much better than receiving!

Get that feel good feeling of giving. You will never miss it I promise you. Keep Christ in your life now and every day of your life and as I have said earlier..."Let who you are be reflected by what you do for others!"

Happy birthday Jesus! J and K in Birmingham, Al USA
