Midgie at Meadowood Thursday November 3, 2005

We had a family and staff meeting at Meadowood yesterday and mom needs more therapy and still requires more care than we can provide at home. The family (Jack, Karen, Bobbie and me) was pleasantly impressed with the staff and caregivers at Meadowood and the fact mother is happy. The social part or continued impressions and interactions with the therapists and mother have been a big plus in her recovery processes. We still don't know (and may never know) what really happen 4 weeks ago when I found she could not stand and her balance impaired.

She is better and mending. She is progressing but slowly. Most important of all, your collective prayers are working. HE has put good caregivers in her path that really care for her and NOW really love her. Many said they would hate to lose her when she leaves. We, collectively, decided on another 4 weeks and another planned family meeting November 30.

Thanks to all for all for the calls, cards, prayers, and visits. She is still in 403A but may be moved to a larger semi-private room. Mildred Nutter; News at 11:00.
